Sinclair’s advertising writers first had the idea to use dinosaurs in
Sinclair marketing back in 1930. They were promoting lubricants refined
from crude oil believed to have formed when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
From that date on, Sinclair used the dinosaur to promote it's gasoline
products - they even set up a large exhibit at the 1964 World's Fair. This
packet was part of an earlier, 1961 or so, promotion. "Compliments of Your
Sinclair Dealer". Card is roughly 6 1/4†wide x 3â€. There were multiple
assortments available.
